Wir haben heute einmal probiert, selber Butter zu machen. Wir nahmen einfach etwas Vollrahm und dann haben die Kinder geschüttelt und geschüttelt und geschüttelt… und dann Mama und Daddy auch noch… und dann die Kinder wieder und dann hatten wir Butter! Es schmeckte herrlich! Da wir vorher zum Vollrahm ein wenig Maple Syrup gefügt hatten, schmeckte auch die übrig gebliebene Milch hervorragend! Die Kinder möchten jetzt immer ihre eigene Butter machen. Ich bin noch nicht ganz davon überzeugt!

Today we tried to make our own butter. We just took some whipped cream and then the children shook and shook and shook… and then mommy and daddy also shook… and then the kids did again and then we had butter! It tasted great! Since we had added a little maple syrup to the cream earlier, the left over milk also tasted delicious! Now the kids always want to make their own butter. I’m not convinced!
