Momentan nehmen wir eine Woche „Pause“ von unserem Strom-Thema und vertiefen uns in die Astronomie zur Vorbereitung auf die Sonnenfinsternis am 20. März. Gestern und heute haben wir das Sonnensystem angeschaut und mit Ballönen die Planeten in ihrer relativen Grösse dargestellt. Nur für die Sonne hatten wir keinen Riesenballon, wie er eigentlich sein sollte! Natürlich ist diese Darstellung weit weg von perfekt, doch es gibt den Kindern eine Idee davon, wie das Universum aussieht. Sie sind auf jeden Fall ganz stolz auf ihre neue Zimmerdekoration!

We are currently taking a week-long „break“ from our electricity topic and are getting into astronomy as a preparation for the solar eclipse on March 20th. Yesterday and today we took a look at our solar system and used balloons to illustrate the planets in their relative size. Only for the sun we did not have the kind of giant balloon that would have been needed! Of course, the illustration is far from perfect, but it gives the children an idea of what the universe looks like. They are certainly proud of their new room decoration!
